How to use Herb-Ox chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 cube = 1 cup of broth: dissolve 1 cube in 1 cup (8 oz) of boiling water.
- Instead of canned broth: 2 cubes in 1-3/4 cups of boiling water = one 14 oz can, as printed on the lid.
- Cube to teaspoon: Hormel's conversion is 1 cube = 1 packet = 1 teaspoon of granulated bouillon.
- Uses printed on the jar: soup, stew, gravies, sauces and stir-fry; the cooking water for rice, pasta, couscous, potatoes and vegetables; seasoning poultry and fish before cooking.
